Read full description of the books:

Any authorial autobiographical snippet I write is going to sound either incomplete or schizophrenic (in the colloquial, "I'm not trying to offend anyone or use this term in a way that would pass muster with a professional psychologist," sense). I suppose I'll go with the latter.

My writing falls groups that can be distinguished by the author's name.

As Dominick Cancilla, I write fiction (mostly horror) and general non-fiction. This includes many short stories and one embarrassingly short novel.

As D. Cancilla, I write popular philosophy, with a particular focus on developing moral systems and atheism. I've published one book under this name, am working on another, and actively blog at http://www.iamanatheist.com/blog/ .

I've written one humorous book (on how to lose money at blackjack) as D.A. Cancilla, and will use that name in the future as sort of a catchall for works that don't fall into one of these other categories.

My Disney-related humor is written as Horatio Liar (or Horatio Q. Liar). I've published two books under this name, am working on a third, and blog at http://www.disneylies.com/blog/ .

I used Hamilton Bacon as the author for one book that's best read only by those who enjoy bacon, aren't particularly religiously reverent, and have a lot of time on their hands.

I'm glad that's out of the way.

A few random personal details: I've been married to the same awesome woman since forever -- author and proofreading-godsend Deborah Markus. We have a teenage son, who specializes in creating music and stunning strangers with his hair. I've lived in southern California my entire life, collect old radio shows, and (according to some) spend way too much time at Disneyland.

In closing, I leave you with this plea for publicity: If you podcast in the area of religion, popular philosophy, or Disney/Disneyland, I would love to send you a book and perhaps be a guest on your podcast. I've appeared on a couple of podcasts and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, in part because I get to talk about things that interest me, and in part because it's someone else's podcast so I don't have to do any of the technical stuff.

Thanks for reading!
